Judith John is Yamurai Children's Foundation's first sponsored child and we praise God for her. She was born on September 15th, 1994 in Zimbabwe and her mother died of AIDS after she gave birth to Judith. She was born with HIV and is currently on some antiretroviral drugs which have helped her, and will continue to help her live a normal life. After Judith’s mother passed, her father remarried and she had to stay with the step-mother who abused her. During her stay in the house as a sick 5yr old girl, Judith was forced to clean the house like an adult, wash clothes and do what adults would do. Her father later died of AIDS and the abuse by the step mother and step grandmother continued with severe beatings that left her with physical and emotional scars. One day Judith’s step mother poured hot water on the little girl’s body, but with God’s grace she made it. She was then removed from the house and is now under the care of Ms. Jean (the Director) in an Orphanage in Mutoko. Ms. Jean and those who work with her have been doing a great job looking after Judith and other hundreds of children in hope to provide a comfortable place.

Judith JohnJudith is a very shy little girl who just needed someone to love and reach out to her to tell her how special she is. MPOC has done a great job in taking care of Judith and they are thankful to Yamurai for taking over in sponsoring her.

She is a great 5th Grade student, but because of AIDS she gets sick and is not able to attend classes, but she does continue to fight. Dr. Marsha (American doctor) who is very involved in helping the children and visits them two to four times a year, has also been counseling Judith for some time and there is hope.

Though it can be difficult to live a normal life when you have gone through so much emotional and physical abuse at such a young age, God is there to heal the broken hearts and give them a brighter future because nothing is impossible. I know that through God she is going to live long and have a bright future and some day she will be a testimony to other children. That’s why Yamurai is honored to be in her life. Yamurai is currently preparing clothes and goods to deliver to Ms Jean who is in the USA visiting. She will give the items to Judith in a few weeks.

There are a lot of children in Zimbabwe who needs our help and thats why Yamurai Children's Foundation is honored to be a helping hand. Through proceeds collected from Sandyministries Music and thoughful donations of any amount from you, Yamurai will continue to make a difference.
